YWCA Halifax is for, and by, women, girls, Two Spirit, and gender diverse people. Together we’re building a future of gender equality by creating opportunities and supports for child care, education, employment, housing, financial security, and more.
- We are dedicated to providing women and gender diverse people with housing security, and providing integrated support to break the cycle of homelessness.
- We are proud to offer Early Learning and Child Care options to families through our licensed child care centres, family home child care providers, and before and after school programs.
- We build economic security, promote wellness, and create opportunities for all women, girls, Two Spirit and gender diverse people, and their families. We see a future of gender equality through child care, education, employment, housing, financial security, and more.
