Dear Members,
As we approach the new fiscal year, the Nova Scotia Non-Profit Housing Association (NSNPHA) is preparing for membership renewals. Renewal notices will be issued shortly, and we are writing to inform you of updates to our Membership Renewal Policy and fee structure.
Key Updates:
Uniform Renewal Date: Membership renewals will be processed each January, with payment due by the end of April. Memberships are valid from April 1 to March 31 annually.
Fee Adjustments: To continue supporting the growth and sustainability of our services, there will be a small increase in membership fees. (Details in the attached policy.)Members who paid the full membership fee during the last six months of this fiscal year will receive a 50% credit from their previous fee applied to the renewal rate.
Prorated Fees for New Members: Starting this fiscal year, new members joining during the last six months (October–March) will pay 50% of the annual membership fee.
We are confident these updates will streamline our renewal process while maintaining fairness and transparency. The updated Membership Renewal Policy is attached for your review, including detailed information about the fee structure and other administrative procedures.
What’s Next?
Renewal Notices: Look for your renewal notice in January.
